About Me

Hello there. I've been teaching EFL for the last 12 years and am currently with Active Language in Cádiz.  Throughout the year I give various workshops on methodology and have also written material for a number of publishers. I am currently putting together a new website at www.chrisroland.net where a range of my ideas for ELT will be available.  I can be contacted at chris.roland@gmail.com as well as through this site.

Reg and Lellow began as little scribbles on the back of a class handout in the summer of 2008 and they've been a pet project of mine ever since. I'm delighted to have got to this stage and to be able to offer to share them with other teachers. My aim now is to add more stories to the site, so that teachers have the option of showing one per week to their students, as well as adding supplementary teaching materials - so please keep coming back to the site regularly!

Hello Chris. I am using your material with my young daugthers, and they love your stories. We are trying to move to Australia and they do'nt speak English at all, so thank you very much for let me use this. We have met in the British Council in BCN, two months ago. Once more, thank you very very much!!!!

that would be great!!! I'm not use to work with children. I usually work with teenagers, but this year things have changed, hahahaha. So Reg & Lellow really help me out, and kids engaged a lot with the course when they know it's reg and lellow time. They're funny, educative and they get E-motion in motion hahaha. So thanx again Chris

Hi Chris,

Good to be back! I lost my old profile details somehow, but am signed up again now. I've invited the teachers here who have the little kids' classes, and I'd like to put some of the stories into the syllabi. I noticed you have a language breakdown for 'Hello', do you have an overall list of what language & phonics are in each story? It'll make my day if you have!

Hi!
'Reg and Lellow' goes to show that it doesn't have to be all that complicated or superanimated for children to be interested and for them to learn. My pupils all have just loved the stories of Reg and Lellow! In fact so much so, that on our Valnetine's Day Show a group of girls are having a play with Reg and Lellow! :-) So, thank you! And as the children say: We want more!

Hi Chris, thanks a lot for your quick and kind reply. But, I have to correct some misunderstanding about my place - I come from Serbia, which has nothing to do with Russia . :)

Bye for now!

Sure, no problem; just give me a couple of weeks. I'll try both R&L and HB and ask for some feedback from the children themselves.
all best...
