Thanks Sandie and Cat for being the first people to sign up as members to the site! (You kind of caught me off guard so I thought I'd add a Comments page and a Members age quick sharp!). Hope you like the stories - can use them. I'll be adding more this week and after that more related teaching materials - so please keep coming back to us!

Best wishes and thanks again!

You joined! Great stuff! Good to see you here. I'm trying to get the full ten up in time for a session I'm doing with some teachers on Saturday. Much love - Chris.

Bob - thanks! When I set it up I wasn't quite sure what to expect but the reaction has been terrific - and the amount of visitors from the States has really surprised and delighted me.

I'm going to be working on extra resources and ideas for the next month or so, and then starting on a new batch of stories which I'll be posting up in the New Year. Once again, many thanks for your words of encouragement.

That's great Amalia, cheers. In about two weeks you can expect to see a set of flashcards in the materials section. Might come in handy for retelling the stories and so on. Right, time for my first Sunday morning cup of tea.

Best wishes

Hi Chris - you posted on the primarymfl ning site and I thought I would have peek. I really like the stories I have looked at so far. I like the cookie names of the characters and appreciate the skill you bring in building up language in the stories.

Have you had them translated into any other languages? Would you mind if I translated them into French for use in my school? Would you mind if i adapted the powerpoint slides to include some movement, sound and interactivity? What are your plans for these?

No problem - you're very welcome indeed to translate them into French and play about with movement and effects. This is one of the reasons I left them as open/modifiable images.  I'd be interested to have a look at whatever you turn out as well.

With regard the language, I'm planning to build up a schema of language covered so far, and in the rest of the stories. there'll be a considerable amount more material going up there as well.

With regard to my plans for R+L, my intention is to add another 20 stories to the site, get as many teachers using them as possible - and then take it from there. For now though, I'm happy just to spread the little fellows around!

Hi Chris,  The stories look great.  It's a pity I'm not teaching kids anymore!  Hope you're well,  Emma

The kids are here and waiting for you! -But it looks as if you're doing a fine job where you are so I'd stick with that for now! Cx
